So you’re trying to save money. You’ve been clipping coupons and researching HughesNet Pricing and now you’re onto the biggest expense in your household: food. One of the most economical ingredients available today just happens to be delicious and we’ve got a few great ideas for making a meal out of eggs!
Juevos Rancheros: Depending on whether or not you like Tex-Mex flavors, this one could become a family favorite, Fry two eggs over easy then place them atop toast points covered in cheese. If you’ve got it, slip some ham underneath, too, but if not just top with salsa and go to town!
Frittata: It’s like an omelet but heartier and much harder to screw up. Simply cook the eggs and any fillings you’d like (think onions, potatoes, greens) in a skillet until loose then place the whole thing in the oven until the eggs set on about 375. Make sure you’re using an oven safe skillet.
Hard Boiled: Hard boiled eggs are cheap, easy and a great way to supplement an otherwise palsy snack. Have one or two but only eat half the yolks for a healthier take.

Rachael Ray was born on August 25, 1968 to Elsa Scuderi and James Ray in Glens Falls, New York. While growing up her family owned four restaurants in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, but then the family moved to Lake George, New York where her mother managed restaurants. Rachael finally moved to New York City where she landed her first job at the candy counter in Macy’s. After many other jobs she moved into the position of buyer for a gourmet market in Albany, it was this job that helped her create Thirty Minute Meals. She taught a small cooking class in this market where she was discovered and eventually was offered a contract with Food Network.

Rachael has had no formal training in the culinary world, but this didn’t stop her from becoming one of the most well-known television personalities out there. She says that her training came from her family and trial and error. She was married to her husband John on September 24, 2005 in Italy. Rachael also has a charity that she started called Yum-O that teaches kids and parents how to cook, feeding hungry children, and the charity also helps to fund cooking education to get people interested in the culinary world.
